MASSAGE THERAPY

Hand Massage

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

As a Massage Therapist you will be trained in the principles of massage.  The student will be trained in anatomy and physiology, as well as pathology that will be considered when planning a massage session, kinesiology, massage business and ethics, fundamentals of massage, and massage practice and techniques.  The students will be trained using verbal, written, visual and hands-on instruction throughout the classroom and clinic. The students will have hands-on demonstrations and supervised practice to advance their knowledge and techniques to allow them to succeed in their new careers.

THE STUDENT MUST COMPLETE:

  • All courses are taught in sequence and each student must successfully complete each course with a minimum of 70% to complete the program

  • Achieve 70% lab participation 

  • 60 hours of clinical experience

 

MINIMUM PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS FOR CONCENTRATION COURSE OBJECTIVES:

​To prepare competent entry-level massage therapists in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains.

Anatomy and Physiology I

Anatomy and Physiology II
Anatomy and Physiology III

Kinesiology

Pathology

Massage Business and Ethics

Fundamentals of Massage I / Lab

Fundamentals of Massage II / Lab

Massage Clinicals

COST OF THE PROGRAM: $9,000.00

Tuition: $8,400.00

Books & Supplies: $500.00

Application Fee: $100.00

​

Cost of Books & Supplies as well as the Application Fee are due upon enrollment.  

Payment plans are available for the full tuition amount.

CLASS SCHEDULES: 

Day Class Schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays

8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Length of the Program: 44 weeks of campus instruction followed by 60 hours of externship

​

Night Class Schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays

5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Length of the Program: 77 weeks of campus instruction followed by 60 hours of externship

REQUIREMENTS TO ENROLL:​

  • Provide copy of their current government issued picture ID

  • Provide copy of their valid social security card

  • High school diploma or GED transcripts
